‘Once you stop learning, you start dying’   Albert Einstein.

Do you sometimes wonder what it feels like l or looks like to love your life? Why are some people happy on less than what you earn or make a year? Do you sometimes wonder how some people who seem to have less have a happy marriage?  Have you been working hard to measure up with your friends/peers only to find out it was not good enough?  Have you been chasing things only to realize you’re still miserable. The goal posts keep changing. Do you want more out of life but feel tied down to where your life is at, stuck in the middle between where you were and where you want to go. Welcome to redefining success on a personal level.

A life without passion is a life half lived.

Reading this you probably have more than enough to get started with your next level.  Pain changes us into something we are not. Shutting others out overthinking simples, and just being weird at times.  Accepting your life is owning your life on the way to where you want to go. You discover your own purpose by living fully in the present. Remember when you allow pain to control your life, you limit your life to possibilities.

Life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you react to it.  Charles R. Swindoll

Here is a list of 5 ways you can coach your way into personal success. Changing your focus onto what’s working really well for you. Your current job is full of opportunities. Give it all you got. If you really can’t because your energy has been drained, search for less demanding work to help you make the transition, pay your bills while you work on your dream career or business adventure. You can do this by selling online and offline. Get a coach to help you make the transition if you really cannot switch careers. A good coach will work with you because it is in their best interest to get good reviews by working with them. You can join my private group on facebook and sign up to my newsletter.

Start by doing what’s necessary; then do what’s possible; and suddenly you are doing the impossible. Francis of Assisi.

1.  Look for opportunities to help someone every single day.  It could be the CEO of your organisation. Expecting nothing in return. Support your peers with similar experience and find a way to lift up someone with less experience than you. Ask them what their dream job is and is there any way you can help them find the resources they need. It may sound counter productive. But is that not what wisdom really is? How we treat others?

2. Put aside 10% of your income to a good cause that you believe in. A local homeless shelter, children’s hospital, your local church, you choose. Live on the 90% for now. Most people say I will start when am making more money. Not true. If you can manage on the little you have now you are saying money does not control nor own me. It is only a tool for you. This might mean downsizing for a while so you can move into your dream home.

3. Take a few days to think about your life vision. Your life will move in the direction of your most dominant thoughts.  Having no personal vision means falling into any other vision out there. Hopefully one that you can get out of quickly. Successful companies have a vision a personal statement. What does yours say. Others call this personal branding. This is the person you are at home and at work. Same person. Concentrated focus.

4. Write out your personal career development plan. Where do you want to be in 5 years time and where do you need to start now.  Your work is your life mission your gift and of course it helps with paying your bills and some holidays.  But you must be intentional about it. Study and apply people skills, your number one skill to promotion in any industry.

The purpose of leadership is to create more leaders not followers.

5.Productivity and time mastery.  Plan out your next 18 months.  Focus on the top 1-3 personal goals you need to work on. Want to be debt free? Create a passive income plan now. Create income while you sleep. Will post on that soon. Want to be fit and healthy, spend a few hours planning your meals and exercise routine. Revise accordingly once a week.

Notice it is not by giving attention to what we do not like but by giving all our time and energy to what we actually want that transforms our lives from the inside out.  The more excited you are about what you do the quicker you will identify what relationships are worth investing in and those that drain you. Some will have to stay in your outer circle and others will come closer in your inner circle if they are not there already.

Spend more time on what you love and what does not appeal to you slowly melts away.

Live. Love. Learn. Rise.
